Four Seasons Private Residences, DIFC

Overview

Fifty residences and two penthouses, at the centre of the financial district.

Their city-facing facades are linear; the inward curves hold a pedestrian-only garden square planted oasis-style above the street. Architecture

Four towers, sculpted from a continuous whole.

Sir David Chipperfield’s scheme reads as one mass cut into four distinct buildings. The linear, city-facing elevations hold the street line; the inward curves open onto the garden square, fringed with restaurants and cafes. Chipperfield received the Pritzker Prize in 2023 and the RIBA Royal Gold Medal in 2011; his practice works from London, Berlin, Milan, Shanghai and Santiago de Compostela.

Interiors

Interiors by Tihany Design, tailored room by room.

Tihany Design, founded in 1978 and led by Adam D. Tihany and Alessia Genova, also designed Four Seasons Hotel DIFC next door, along with the Beverly Hills Hotel and The Breakers Palm Beach. The residential brief is a sense of sanctuary above a working district: comfort tailored by design, luxury as stylish function. Residence renders and floor plans are released to registered buyers.
